I tend to disagree, Alan throws the verse, "God is not the author of confusion" at what Eva wrote. I personally really like what Eva wrote and I agree with non-christian that there's nothing confusing about it. When Alan uses this verse he's saying that what Eva believes is of the Devil, because isn't it the Devil who is supposed to be the author of confusion.
It's interesting that many Christians can't talk about their beliefs simply as a personal journey. They always have to say that what they personally believe has to be for you too otherwise you're not saved.
