I'm not saying we're all there already, but it's fairly clear that there are some strong personalities on this board. That's normal, and I know just as many strong personalities in society around me.
Of course just reasserting individuality is not the only issue here. There's a lot of pain associated with the cult and most of us can't talk about it to our family & friends, so the only place we can vent freely is on these boards.
I'm not saying even these are all the issues present here, but I do strongly agree with the need to respect each other. Not that we all need to exude some kind of 'false niceness', but restraint & courtesy at least seem better than the alternatives.
