You touched on something there

This form of "I've got it all figured out and now all I have to do is inform you" type thinking abounds in many faiths, and many circles not just religious/spiritual ones. "Aaaah, if only everyone the world were more like me!"

The saying goes, "you'll always get where you're going, but who will you be when you get there?" And I will add, who will be with you when you get there, and who will you have left behind?

So for me, the journey itself is important. Perhaps because I'm more adventurous, and I've had so many experiences where nothing was what it seems, and nothing was what I was so certain it was, I am quite open to learning new things. I identify much more with the "ongoing" Journey rather than the "finished" journey concept.

Whether or not we all have our ultimate final destinations, be it an either/or heaven/hell nirvana-nothingness-oneness/perpetual-spiritual-unevolvement-chaos, the paths we take and how we journey to get there, what we will become and how we will change our itinerary (the "endless array of aspects" as you called it), is what we what get to choose. That's the beauty of it. One common theme throughout religious/spritual thought: How we treat our fellow travelers is what determines our final destination. Who we meet and what we exchange with them is pretty crucial. I completely relate to what you said, "I draw personal spiritual enrichment from so much more than just Bible scripture." The bible has been a good text book and I still live by its teachings, but the real living of life is out there.

Your posts are always interesting, and I sure do hope you will share more about your journey, and I'm sure we will at some time or other, draw fire from rulebook quoting fellow journeymen.
