Yes! I do believe this. This premise to me is a simple one in many religions. And I would extend it to environment and animals. I have been learning alot while emerging from my self-centered fortress that sheided me from hurt.
I think life has some pretty amazing experiences right here in my neck of the woods that I have missed when being too guarded. Of course I would not mind at all being in the Swiss Alps. It is so very beautiful there! That is one spiritual experience, waking up and breathing the fresh air, drinking the fresh water and seeing the beautiful mountains. I so would like to experience that.
