Welcome to the Journeys board, Natasha. I enjoyed reading your thoughtful post. Your years in the COG is similar to my own. Like you, I began to recognize the unraveling of Berg's tapestry with such false prophesies as the Kahoutec letter and the perverted teaching of "Flirty Fishes."
Like you, I left the COG before it went into it's moral/spiritual tailspin. We are very fortunate to have gotten out as soon as we did. The experiences of those who spent many years in the COG are heart-breaking. By sharing your spiritual journey on this board, you will be giving encouragement to ex-members. Who knows...maybe a few of the current TF members who visit this board will be inspired to get free of the cult.
