Wasn't the first and won't be the last. Right now this is a discussion, sort of, but within a couple more posts it could degenerate into someone being here on a mission to instruct and "warn" the unenlightened. It's edging closer and closer to that IMO. There is a difference between sharing personal journeys and instructing others. There is also a difference between processing the post-cult journey, as in the detoxification process, and an unabashed cult-like "I've-got-a-corner-to-hearing-from-Jesus" mentality on the bullhorn.
Sorry if I sound skeptical. I don't mean to be unwelcoming, but I've just come too long and too far leaving behind this cultic mindset, to have to wade through yet another one of these episodes where someone shows up (and you do sound almost identical to the previous personalities who are now all banned for disrespecting the guidelines of this board) and claims to have left the COG, but has all the trappings of still being in it (even if it's a 70s version); and drags us through 100s of posts about elaborately worked out conspiracy theories and "I've figured out who the AC and the Beast are" types of posts.
You sound intelligent enough, and if you really want to discuss your views, you can share parts of it, and ask us what we think, but the completely worked out prophet status (Jesus told you about Bush and you finally had to listen) and the mission to tell the world (more than 2 decades of warnings which have now come to pass) ideas, uhh, please don't bring them to this site.
