The article below of AG I really liked...I could agree with you Stumped, that once you hold a conviction etc. you don't water it down, not to judge by eyesight: Oh look there comes the king or wow, that is so and so of TF, "mighty" leader. It's human, fleshly, but not spiritual cause the anointing is - if at all - of God, so no credit to that person...on the other hand, if people admire someone, who's as the matter of fact deceived & off the way, well, then, if you don't watch out, you could compromise in your convictions...even Berg gave one of the prime examples the old & the young prophet...sad story...
In Germany they were puzzled, why this brutal murderer & criminal with plenty charges against him got dozens of loveletters from women, who seriously wanted to marry him, although he had hardly a chance to get out before very long...One explaination given was, that some - especially woman!!!??? - seem to have what is called a helper syndrome...they like big challenges, like making out of this criminal a "wonderful guy" through their personal love.I may be wrong, but to me that is most likely being exploited & doomed to failure, not always, but......
