A friend of mine, a Christian who went to see the movie this morning spent some time in the afternoon with her daughter, who was raised but has since left the basic Christians beliefs.
The mother wrote me an email this evening not about the movie but about her conversation with her daughter and the depth of answers he was able to put together as a result of the film. In her own words, she had had herself many questions about the passion and the death of Jesus Christ but along with her knowledge of the Scriptures she was able to gain critical insight to help and witness her daughter just a few hours later.
No money statistics would ever be able to account this type of outcome.
