The point is that if it doesn't make money, nobody is seeing it. That is the nature of Hollywood and big budget feature films.
If nobody is seeing it, nobody gets the message.
The good news is that based on what I'm reading, about a million people a day are seeing the film.
Hollywood hasn't made religious films in a long time because it was believed that they were box office poison.
At last for now, that seems to have turned around. If it continues to do will over the next few weeks, it will be good news for those who want to see more major release religious films.
The "VeggieTales" thing just illustrates how far you have to go to find any religious film that has been successful in the last several years.
