That's the whole point of my question. It seems so much of what we once explained as 'evil spirits' can now be explained as psychological problems & schizophrenia & just plain selfishness. People are that way & it's hard to see they need much help form demons to bully & prey on others. And in Berg's case he gave over to his sexual lusts & alcohol. Demons would have been icing on the cake to make him worse but he was already rotten to the core by his own choice & free will.
OK but the catch is I still think demons exist tho the list of things they do is smaller. I wonder if they're sort of like spirit helpers whispering shit in people's ears?
