I like the way you look at it, AG, leaving it open as to whether it's purely psychological or also spiritual. I imagine you know a lot about mental states and rage and things it does to the mind, and a lot of people would want to explain it all in purely natural terms. But like you I've seen some bizarre stuff with green light flashing from people's eyes. Three of us at once saw it and were pretty shaken up at it.
Some people go way overboard with demons (like the Family is doing now, it pretty pathetic) and I think demonizing people who oppose you like Maria's trying to do to Jules is so weak. But I wouldn't rule out that pure evil exists. I think it's beyond our science to rule out spiritual beings and that some of them are bent on evil. We simply don't know. I personally believe the Bible when it talks about Jesus casting out demons but I also see a lot of charlatanism in the overuse of demons -- like the Family.
