There is also the need to know about our own salvation. Judging others is seldom as difficult as judging ourselves. In a purely Christian way we can use the more or less clear standard of the New Testament but not everybody has that same standard.
What makes us think we are so right, Christians or non Christians, that whatever view we have of the world is the correct and only good view? Even within Christians there are shrarply marked different interpretations of right and wrong.
