Thank you for sharing your experience. I had observed it also and I suspect that there are a good dose of other elements (good communication skills, lots of respect for each other needs and wants, etc.) which play a major role in the outcome.
As a romantinc person I welcome your refreshing story and congratulate both of you for working out such a delicious arrangement. It gives me hope for the world (and for even myself :-)
