Matt, just my two cents but I think that part of the reason all this coming-out process is more difficult for you than it was for others is because you and your poor wife were personally victimized in a Mo Letter. You were falsely accused and shamed and maybe the experience has traumatized you in an emotional way. I really feel for you, bro. If it's simply a matter of mentally figuring out what is true and what was just bullshit, that's easier. But when you've been hurt when you were most vulnerable, getting over the resultant emotions is harder.
You were accused UNJUSTLY of being half-hearted when the truth is a terrrible tragedy happened and Mo foolishly pointed the finger. And he was wrong.
He accused others and was wrong too. You're not the only one this happened to. Remember the "Gen" series where Mo called Eman Artist's wife a witch? This wasn't just one letter but "the Gen Series". It all started when Gen and Eman's baby had a terrible bruise on its head and both Gen and Eman denied knowing how it happened. So Mo got supposedly an answer in the Spirit that told him it was Gen who did it. She was then villifed for months in MLs. Poor girl! But years later Eman confessed to Peter Amsterdam that after all, it was HIM who had injured the baby. It was crying so he hastily ran it through a doorway and banged its head. Mo had a 50-50 chance of predicting the blame right, and he got it WRONG! Imagine that! He couldn't flipped a coin and had a good a chance of getting it right. So muchfor him being the "greatest prophet" who ever lived.
This is the same badly-guessing finger-pointing man who got it wrong with you, Matt. You suffered unjustly. Hope you recover, bro. You deserve it!
