that is so cool! Thanks for writing about that, very interesting.
The only thing I had the courage to take was a little hand mixer that was on U.S. voltage/current. I figured it was more useful to me returnig to the states, so I took it. I felt guilty and stubborn at the same time.
That little hand mixer made an awful lot of birthday cakes, breads and pastries and only died about a year ago. Fifteen years of service on the lam!!!! Come to think of it, I should have encased it and put it on display on my wall. My stolen mixer.
