If people go to a church where they believe dancing is a sin then so what? I just won't go to that church. It doesn't matter so much to me these little things. I don't think you will find it in the Bible where it says dancing is a sin. Or being friendly is a sin. But more often then not people leave churches where they are not happy and find ones more accomadating to their faith. Or they decide not to have faith at all and wash their hand of the whole thing.

But most Churches do agree that idolatry is wrong, that sexual immorality is wrong, that murder is wrong etc...That is something that is binding to most christians. If you say tell someone you are a christian, then they usually(unless they have had terrible experiences) think, oh this person, doesn't believe in murder etc...This is because Jesus said these things were evil. If churches or indiviuals add on to the list, then it's up to the indiviual to either leave or find comfort in it. It's never good to point fingers and condemn, but it's not good to point fingers at those condemning and say it's not right. It could be what they need to stay on the straight narrow. It could be that it's God's way to make a way to escape. I don't know, just thinking out loud here.

I have to agree with the last point, could it be our own hearts (or dare I say the Holy Spirit) tries to get through and led us to repentance. Worry isn't always a bad thing, not if brings godly sorrow that brings forth true repentance and peace of mind. But then again I feel it's a very indivual thing, every man (or woman) must work out their own salvation. I don't think it's a blanket rule that can be applied to everyone.

Also sorry for the delay in answering, I'm studying for examns and am trying to be good and not post to much!lol
