A blessed death.
He brought us together
to mourn and celebrate
A blessed life.
If the cosmos does not
remain vital, living,
always growing
I have no part in it
and I do not exist.
I do not know
a Great Spirit
a beautiful cosmos
like two beings apart,
one immortal, and
the other mortal,
cursed somehow
needing salvation
from corruption.
Things change.
People live,
People die.
Great-Spirit-Beautiful-Cosmos
goes on
one way or another.
With us,
without us.
