I was, and I think extremely obviously, concerned that Orizon might be ideating suicide, kinda gentler. I was not belittling anyone; having been brought up out of some pretty "deep waters"; myself.

When counseling those who might be ideating suicide, I would NEVER bring up, say, the Sioux saying that, "Today is a good day to die!"; obviously.

I welcome ANY challenge to my faith, and will try to ALWAYS "be ready to give an answer of the REASON of the hope that is in me", and the posting rules of Journeys obviously provide for that, as well as any point of view of any poster, as they say.

If anyone would like to e-mail me personally, please do. But, just because TF feigned Biblical Christianity does not mean that that does not exist as a valid, vibtrant and life-giving reality.

I'm very familiar with Native American beliefs; I'm part Cherokee myself, and my many "post-TF" years have provided the opportunity to intensely, and even exhaustively on some subjects, study world religious experiences.

One of my heroes, CS Lewis, also loved the study of world religions and philosophies, and he was a tireless debater and debunker of poor logic and "fuzzy thinking", and still a humble defender of Biblical, and historically Orthodox, and specifically Christian beliefs, at the same time.

I personally also believe that, if TF experiences burn someone out so bad that they are unwilling to take another look at the REAL Jesus Christ of Scripture, there still exists a partial victory of evil.

That's my considered opinion; based in considerable experience and open-minded study, and reflection, and based on sound reason and the recorded similar thoughts of many, many other Christians throughout the ages.

I am no longer myopically Berg-centered in my world view; I literally thank God!
