We are not theologians to try to describe accurately what is true Faith in God and true submission to Him and I don't think as you that theologians know more than us about it!
For sure rebellion has some good and some bad in it. To know the whys and whos of everything is man.s desire but it looks that God cannot tell us everything now and surely as perfect as He is He has perfect reasons.
For sure to have blind faith and follow Berg's writings to the letter was obviously weird stuff. We never had in the Bible well-known prophets since Jesus came on Earth and I don't think we needed any since He came except Him.
All that to say that childlike FAith in the Father God is great and the solution to many problems! I also saw getting older and wanting to question anything God or Christ do that I began to doubt and I don't do it anymore!
The reason we joined Berg's cult is because we have been fooled by a false prophet. But that false prophet based the beginning of his witnessing revolution by spreading at first quite correctly the Salvation Message. So there was a good part to it that rapidly became sour as pride and insanity as lust became that false prophet's habits fast...
Nevertheless the first faith in Christ and the answer of our hearts and souls to Salvation preached was good. But afterwards we also became weak Christians ourselves and unwise to follow Berg's teachings, cult ones, and we are guilty to have stayed in the cult seeing what was done in there opposing the Word of God, our fault there.
Many people and most of the population never joined Berg's cult or Krishnas or Scientology, Moonies, etc..., Christians or not, because they wisely & clearly saw manipulation in those groups as wise people. We weren't wise ourselves enough and paid for it ourselves! God is not responsible!... The Word clearly says that there would be false prophets many times in our days and ever there were and we didn't follow God but a mere stupid false prophet who lived much in sin a good part of his life and who became insane as we became too partly following a cult not being wise enough! And it takes time to heal as we damged ourselves much! Nobody's fault. But sweetness and humility and even a better Faith in God and Christ and purer service too for Him can come out of that experience and make us to have a cleaner purer Faith in Him then and His Word seeing that any manipulation of It is unwise!
Some will say we become extreme-right buddies or in right-conservatism having a childlike blind Faith in God and Christ only, but I think not, we became wiser through our experience then! Think so?
