I am weary of all of those things because I can see how fascinating it must be to "know" the future or predictions, etc. even when they are not accurate. Otherwise I can't see how otherwise rational people can accept that much inaccuracy and uncertainty. Where is the hook that gets them?
Would it be possible for you to sort of compare it with brazilian spiritualism, of the Macumba sort (I think that was the name)?
