It's funny how people soon imply they or someone else got (heavily) misunderstood...I see your point and think pretty much the same...b u t my point was: after some reflecting about the options sooner or later you have to make a decision...like who's my neighbour, otherwise you might be passing by a needy situation...was that so difficult to see the "nuance"...the little difference....or to put it blunt: one might discuss & discuss like in theological circles on & on or in the 60ies & 70ies how to change the world, all hot air & nothing happens, all in the head etc. etc. for that reason I am pretty thankful for the letter of James...believe is alright, it's also proven by action (works)...sometimes it's not so obvious at first, that our thinking influences us, but tell me where do all the christian patients come from who have some wounds of one kind or the other, the many divorces of "christian" people, especially in charismatic circles, as I heard. If you don't believe in divorce of belivers & remarriage of believers -1.Cor. 7 is pretty plain about it - you don't do it.You know what I mean?...it's a bit off the main subject...however related...sooner or later...as I said...one has to make a decision, where one stands theologically...
Berg would may be have said, to jump off the fence. Otherwise, George, it's a very good compilation...I merely took "offence" at the possibility, as I was afraid Acheick was doing, that you just remain "on the fence" for very long...or to put it straight: sooner or later we ourselves have to decide as Bible readers, is the millenium-idea symbolic, fulfilled, to be fulfilled, when by & with whom etc.

I don't know if you happen to be the same George as on NDN, but there seemed to be a bit of a "quarrel" with "dear Joel" about the millenium as well...may be you remember? That was last year, I think & I have downloaded parts of it...
Anyway I wish you also in these thin..gs [or k ; )
] the Lord's wisdom & blessings...
