i am a bbc, and yet i will admit "feeling threatened" by other bbc's. i think there is also a tendency for bbc's to feel threatened by the more widely held opinions of the more relativistic attitudes that are more pervasive not only on exfam boards, but the culture in general. but still, is segregating discussion really a desirable end? isn't having one's ideas, even exploratory ones, challenged helpful in the thought process? if a thread gets utterly consumed before having a chance to get off the ground, i guess that is one thing. maybe that would be a role for a coordinator. but jeepers, saying let's discuss spritual things, but no one can qt the bible sounds pretty strange to me. if you have a bbb than could no one challenge a statement there w/ a non biblical perspective? this sounds very odd to me.
