I find your view fascinating. I had never seen it so clearly. I don't believe the same way you do but I can relate. When I was young I used to have horrible headaches, which were due to sleep deprivation and a bad situation. I remember being about 8-9 years old and going to church and praying the whole afternoon that God would take my heaches away. Of course, they continue and I used that experience to my later rejection of God and the belief set that included spirituality.

I am not going to contradict your position because to me it is a matter of looking at a sea of contradictory information (life phenomena and the Word from the Bible plus a few notions given to us by humans with agendas) and deciding to look at them from one perspective.

I would use here the idea of looking at a glass either half full or half empty but I don't want to suggest one os better than the other. As long as what you have discovered and adopted works for you and brings you happiness, if it is not hurting others, who am I to judge?

I do happen to believe in prayer as an action that serves to contact the physical part of us through some spiritual part of us onto the spiritual world wide web of spirits... (pun intended :) but I see how the failure rate of prayer affects the final and, ultimately, most important decision to believe in ot or not.
