and my daughter who is in TF, and is now 27 would say the same thing. She looks me straight in the eyes and says, "now you know, mom, that there was never any child abuse in the F." This is coming from a full-time member. You see, they don't understand that the sexual liberties were abusive and are abusive. Then they think they've corrected any isolated indiscretions with their love charter. I'm betting my daughter never really saw or read the Davidito book and if she did, she's not going to remember the parts we do. And even if she did remember, she's probably thinking that is normal. Who is going to tell her any different. Even I, as an ignorant young adult, did not realize that letting children see the dancing videos would be considered child abuse. Don't worry, it's upsetting to me too that I can't get these points across to her and to even other SGs. It irritates me to no end also how TF lies to its own members. I'm sure that these people you mention think everything was fine where ever they were. But did they know everything that was going on in the bedrooms with the grouped together teens, JETS, etc.? Probably not.
