KJV 1 Thessalonians 5:21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

If Don can't find anything good from the past, that's alright, as it seems not super much, but
nil would be funny...Don, how did you endure 30
years (at the fringes) of nothing good??

I for one, enjoyed some of the faith trips, meeting people...good they didn't join, however maybe they thought about the Lord.

Don, did you ever try to apply the following verses even to TF,(even if their full preaching is disgusting!!)
5 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
Philippians 1

But good, that you seem to be doing the following,
Don:

KJV Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The subject is long concerning who has what in common:
Once saved forever saved you find with the Darbyist (brethren) and I believe the Baptist &
Mennonites e.g.... and TF
Some Charismatic groups teach that you can loose it under certain conditions ( also Arminianists)

TF believes in speaking in tongues (whatever that might be in detail!!) the Pentecostals & the Charismatic movements (even Catholics) also, in fact, some Pentecostals consider it the sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit...
The Darbyist are strongly opposed to that.

TF believes in tithing, quite common among Baptists & Charismatic movements.

TF allows female leadership in the sense of preaching to the congregation...the same you find in the charismatic movements.
Darbyists,Fundamentalists are opposed to that.

TF believes in marriage divorce & remarriage...
quite often you find that in the big churches & also charismatic movements...by doctrine catholics & many fundamentalists are against that...

etc. etc. have to go...lack of time

Exister said at movingon, if I remember right, he
went once to some pentecostal/charismatic group...
he didn't like it, it reminded him too much of the
past...can't beat that one...
