Believe it or not, I agree with you. To explain further, I don't think it matters that much how we get to the huge high of reality, only that we get there.
But I wonder if you might feel morally superior because you do not need a figment of your imagination to prop you up, and I do?
You see, I am not particularly ashamed of the fact that I am a cripple and that I need a particular kind of crutch to prop me up at this point in my life.
I don't happen to believe that everyone in the world is a cripple and needs my crutches to carry them along. I just know what I need to get by, and it's not a set of crutches fitted out with jackboots to kick the ass of everyone who's different from me.
