I agree, but misunderstandings can be reduced by people kindly (with emphasis) asking back: what do you mean?,... did I understand you right, in saying...whatever is respectful & a better term...
and the other party taking time to explain...too often we assume the other meant this & that...& we
with our "prophetic gifts" (joke) , psychological
(&/or women-intuition ; ) ) skills perfectly "read"
what the other says ...between the lines...just a proud behaviour IMO...& I guess, we're all prone to it more or less, sad to say
