I only wish I had some artistic talents. I am so clumsy that I can't even use door handles very well. I earn my living writing but as you can see I am not too good. At least I recognize poetry, my brain works in short incomplete phrases so it's easy. I just can't make mane of them follow a sequence. What I am about to do is get a digital camera one of these days and start shooting pics. Maybe that is my calling.
The place you describe, where you guys live, sound beautiful. I live in a silly suburb of a small town. The closest we have to a lake is man made and then the floods... At least the house is in a small hill and well built (or so they say), I can go to walking to work and the natives are friendly. They recognised me as a fellow redneck, I guess.
