I think the Bible is fairly specific about the aspect of dominance, may be it's hard to apply it in times ,where one gender dominance is widely seen as a thing of the past & who likes to be super conservative...well, some still, I figure.
I guess it's also a problem who gets together with whom...& to what their biblical fundamentum amounts to...I think much of that should be settled beforehand...I know a good friend, who's not compromising too much & still remains single, but it seems, he prefers it that way, than to live a "foul" compromise.
To me it's obvious, that if there are opposite opinions before a major decision,that you can't always find an inbetween...may be it's smart to not do any of the 2 possibilities, but what if even that is impossible...in other words, sometimes one of the two should have the last word & it's evident to me, that meanwhile the man lost quite heavily that position of respect, in the western world...(and I know, that many men - including me - hate to do the decisionmaking )
