Greg, you mentioned in an earlier post that you were raised an atheist. Perhaps you had the opportunity to read Bertrand Russell's essay: "Why I am not a Christian." If not, or if it's been a long time since you've read it, you might want to review the points he makes. It's a short essay, easy to find on the net. I only wish someone had shown that to me as a young teenager, before I met TF. If I had read that, I likely never would have wasted years of my life in TF, or with any Christian group for that matter.
This woman's belief is that if you don't believe in Jesus you are worthless and you will spend eternity in hell. That's what Jesus said too. Russell's response to that is far more eloquent than my own. Check it out.
