I think this gal belongs to a rather strict Christian church of some kind that may or may not be controlling. But she's obviously what they would consider half "backslidden." She still sort of attends the church but seems to smoke and carouse, etc. Things they would not approve of.
No surprise that she's still firm in her beliefs, however. Many people who are not living what they say they believe are nevertheless very vocal and strong in their opinions. I have been strongly preached JW doctrine to by someone who was no longer even a member of the group.
He told me what a "rush" it was to be in a stadium with 10,000 other JWs. Almost a high. And I thought, doesn't sound like God's spirit, more like mass hysteria.
