Well, you're admirer of Russel, but I am more of an admirer of Gödel, whose incompleteness-theorem was decisive in my final abondoning of the math-studies,prior to joining TF...may be you had a chance of getting to know that...here's a link which deals with it in a "nice" way...but with google there's much more about him, try it...

By the way, you find hardly any noteworthy, albeit
very critical theologian, historian, thinker etc. who'd denounce/deny the historical existence of
Christ...there have been some in the nineteenth &
20ieth century, but hardly now...& I have some insight, living in the country who pursued/es to the extreme the historical critical method...
Plus Russell is really dead wrong about the verses
claiming to prove, that Jesus expected to return
shortly after...TF made many mistakes misinterpreting verses, but he's no better in that regard (of HIS return)
As far as "proves" of God's existence is concerned, there's at least one missing & that of Gödel...might want to try him ; )
