One of my three sisters is bipolar, and years ago was multiply addicted, abusing, and so on. I hospitalized her and helped her. It was a tough go, but she's okay now--I did a lot of praying for her, and a lot of listening.
I also worked with mulitiply addicted transients at a local neuropsychiatric center fr awhile, so your advice is right on the money, Anneke. God bless you
