That's just the point of being open minded and carefully assign value to the opinions of others. Even facts as seen by others are at most only helpful. We are individuals who ultimately must understand things from our individuality not through other people's voices, as helpful and necessary as they might be.
When we don't think for ourselves we act on behalf of those whose thoughts we are thinking.
