I am tired of trying to analize and judge things and make everything so spiritual. The Family convinced us that they had god's ear and that only THEY had the first-hand news and messages straight from the seat of god... through their keezus.
Their spiritual assesment usually made them feel superior and the ones who recieved the so-called judgement (hurricanes, floods, tsunami, drought) were sinners and in need of some "cleansing" and "purging"... god's righteous spanking.
As for me... I can't say what God had in mind when the hurricane hit New Orleans... but I think He'll see how much we are willing to help our fellow man in time of need... regardless of race, status, religion, or political party... and WITHOUT any recognition... photo ops, stats... just plain helping your fellow man who is in a hell of a situation
