Then maybe it was only a 'mistake of the mind' that I didn't realize Berg was supposedly speaking en cathedra at the time of the hollow earth stuff, because then I would have felt more obliged to believe them.
Actually, not believe them, but 'wrap my doubts in a bundle of faith & put them on a shelf.' I think there was a lot of disbelieving happening in our minds & even Berg realized he couldn't stop people from reasoning & doubting, so his backup plan was to wrap up (cover up) our doubts so even if we had'm, we knew not to believe them.
Wasn't it even a Family saying to 'doubt your doubts'?
