It was meant as a reply to you, Goth88, but when I tried to post it last night, it was rejected as a spam. I tried a couple times and then gave up. This morning I noticed that the webmaster had reposted it under CB's post.
If you read my post again, I made a point of apologizing to you and pointed out that I was not trying to pick a fight with you. It was not an "attack" on you, and I think I made that quite clear. "What's the point" (of my post), you ask? It was to share my own experiences in relation to what you and CB posted. Am I not entitled to relate my experiences as well, or did you intend for others to merely read your post and not respond to it, or only respond in a way that pleases you?
Again, I tried to make it clear that my post was not directed at you personally, but was my reaction to the discussion taking place. I even expressed gladness that you are able to now enjoy Christmas even though I abhor it, and then tried to find common ground with you by agreeing with your fondness for Halloween. Strange things to say if I was attacking you. I would offer another apology if I thought it was necessary, but one is enough don't you think?
