The doctrine that I find totally reprehensible is the belief that a child's birth defects are caused by the parents' sins. It's like Berg & Company never read Jesus' answer to the question, "Who sinned that this man was born blind?"

Also wacked-out: The belief that confession of sin & repentance are necessary for a divine healing. Where in the Gospels does it show someone repenting sin BEFORE Jesus heals? Healings are always a sign of grace & faith--not something we deserve or earn.
