OT2 -- Finally gettin' back to ya. Thanx for the response. (I don't have a computer at home, but can use one where I work, or at the public library, when they're open). Having spent most of my life in the Florida Keys and sailing quite a bit, on all kinds of craft, from schooners to small makeshift canoes w/outriggers, I have often tried to relate to folks about this life with the analogy of the sailor. It's like we are all just sailing thru. We have a craft (Our body), the sailor/captain (Our mind) and some kinda will or desire to "Go" somewhere (our soul/the sails). There are many winds out there (Spirits), and many ways to trim the sails (Our own will) to get somewhere. Altho, even tho we may arrive some place, doesn't mean it's actually the desired destination!! One thing I really learned sailing, was that when ya really don't know which way to go, it's much better to just sit still, than to just "Spin-wheels", so to speak, goin' somewhere, as once discovering you're goin' the wrong direction it can be Hell tryin' to get goin' in the right direction again. I sometimes have thot that when Jesus told folks to go into "Outer darkness", He was sayin', "Ok, go on and find out the hard way back to the Light..." What I find so miraculous, Gracious, and Merciful, is that He ONLY has the True Holy Spirit that WANTS to draw us closer. Eventho we rebel and balk at times, it is HE that WANTS to draw us and if we just trim our sails somewhat in His direction, He more and more makes Himself more real to us. More and more findin' out that the more we DO His will, the more we really know it IS. Thanx for you posting, talk to ya later, love, mark
