My feelings too. There are even Christians (Seventh Day Adventists) who believe the body has no spirit but that when the body dies, it dies. The only difference is that they believe the body later resurrects. This belief works for them. I could believe that too & leave it at that except for the fact that I've had out-of-body experiences.

I know some scientists explain such things away as synapses on a funny firing sequence, but it was darned real for me! Words literally fail me to describe the sensation of leaving my body for the first time. I could literally feel my spirit stuggling to free itself from the almost electrical kind of 'magnetism' that normally held it in my body. It was like struggling to pull away from the static cling.

I believe that a person can actually will themselves to leave their body, that it's a conscious choice. Not that I'd recommend doing it though just for fun. There's dark stuff out there. BTW, I wasn't on drugs.
