In the early 80s we invaded the churches, and I'm so glad we did. It has an effect on my life more than 20 years later. We chose to go to one particular denomination. We gave the people the usual con-line, and acted like the sweet Christians we weren't. These people really loved on us and really helped us. One church paid to have the transmission rebuilt in our truck, they really showed us the love of Christ. Of course we took it for granted then and had the idea they were doing their duty to God's elect. Well after our lobotomy reversal we checked out this denomination that was so good to us. We first went in as observers. Same love as some 20 years ago. They were accepting of us even when we told them we had been in the cult. That was 3 years ago and now here I am going to one of their universities studying to be a pastor in one of their churches. This is how invading the churches affected my life.
