I think the discussions have been good, and though I am not anti-Muslim and realize there are millions of moderate Muslims in the world, I've become somewhat alarmed by the quickly rising level of fundamentalism that seeks to impose itself on the Muslim world. That, and following news stories about the beating of Coptic Christians in formely-moderate Egypt fill me with concern. If I were a moderate Muslim in Egypt right now I'd weigh very carefully how much I spoke out about such issues, without making myself and my family a target in return.
Anyway, thanks for the discussion. I'm going to give it a bit of a rest for a while.
