One other "small" problem with the Afghan situation is that the area provides approx 80% of the world's underground heroin supply. That is such a huge amount of money that the crime cartels, warlords and other forces who profit on dope will not tolerate losing this income. Drug traffiking worldwide, particularly in opiates, is one of the biggest cash crops in the world. Every country on the globe has something to account for and no one country can be labled as the sole participant. It is so difficult to sort out that it would be easy to take any perspective on the problem and argue for or against it. Anyways i appreciate your thoughts on this C. I am not too far from a major American trident sub base and I sure hope the nukes don't fly as we will probably get to watch them arching in just before impact. I sure hope there will be an opportunity for the current tensions to decrease but I am not holding my breath.
