Again, Thanks Goth for taking your time to do the translating. You are a jewel. I'm sure Klaus really needs this outlet as so many of us can attest. What a blessing it is to be able to talk about our past, how it affected us, where it all went wrong, and what to do about it now.
I think what you are saying here, Klaus, is very close to how we all feel. None of us started out to join a group that would eventually end up the way it did. Most of us started off because we sincerely thought we were following God and his son Jesus and thought we were really committing ourselves in his service. What was going on in Berg’s own household was hidden from us. What Berg was doing to his wife and children was hidden from us. We feel bad for how it all ended up and we should feel responsible for any hurts that were caused because of our own involvement, but we should not forget who the real perpetrators were and are in this whole ordeal. We were also victims because these were our spiritual overseers and shepherds in whom we placed our trust. Many of us have a problem with trust because of this. We’ve become quite cynical or ready to pounce on anyone that appears to be trying to sway us one way or another. We all have our personal baggage to deal with. Thanks for coming along and giving us your insight. Thank you also for your prayers. We sure need it.
