Good question, what to believe? Who is right, which interpretation or translation is correct? What I find interesting about this new Gospel is that it's further evidence there were different perspectives about Jesus' life and death back then, there was no consensus and politics played a part, just as today.
Here's another question, why is there no contempory evidence about Jesus'life and death, something tangible like a tax receipt or a signature or something like that, or a contemporary account written while he was alive, not years afterwards?
