If you believe that hell is real and that this life is the only opportunity of avoiding hell and achieiving heaven then time is always short. Churches totally believe that hell is eternal and this life is the only opportunity of avoiding hell and achieving heaven and yet they do very little witnessing sometimes hardly any at all. It makes absolutely no sense to me and I think it’s hypocritical and unloving and selfish of them to not witness. Most church people just want to live a good life and enjoy life to the fullest. Jesus didn’t enjoy life to the fullest. He gave his life daily. That’s the most Christian way to be. It’s not just a COG message it’s really the truth. The church I’ve attendended for the past 5 years is in serious decline. Eighty seven percent of the churches in America are in decline. Why ? They don’t witness and in my opinion and experience there’s very little real sacrificial love in many and people are not drawn to a church full of people who are callous and unloving and just want to enjoy life to the full I’ve just started attending my son’s church and they’re doing more evangelism than they used to and there'
s more love between it’s members The more sacrifical people are in a church to do evangeism and other ministries the more love there is between members within the church and the more people are drawn to it.
