1.TFI uses "TV Homes" where carefully-coached children and adolescents obey the "Deceivers Yet True" and "Spoiling Egypt" doctrines, most likely because they have to, to raise money for WS, while pretending that “certain lies about TFI’s current practices” aren’t true, when they patently ARE true. From here they try to establish, for the money-providing public, alt least, that their private doctrines have changed over the years. To do otherwise would bring the result of cutting off most of their funds; worldwide.
If TFI’s learned anything over the years, it is not to stop being megalomaniacal perverts, it is the “improvement” of their marketing strategies; JUST LIKE the Scientologists. Their market expectations are purely based on their accurate understanding of the naiveté and gullibility of the general public. The phrase by Paul about “not even named among the Gentiles” applies here—most people, unevangelized or not, just cannot believe that rank-and-file TFI members REALLY ARE just as nasty as the testimony of ex-members, plus the extant written documents of their leaders, prove them to be.
2. Sam Ajemian's book clearly established that, as ex-Black Panther Bobby Seals said about racism, "Ain't nothin' changed but the CALENDAR!!!". The same can safely be assumed about the majority of TFI living environments, where abuse is definitionally "NON-abuse" to them, and so on.
When I read your comment that "It's just wishful thinking to imagine children growing up in TFI--a group history of teaching & practicing pedophilia as an expression of God's "love"--are as safe as kids growing up outside the Family simply because “TFI no longer actively & openly preaches and practices pedophilia.”" I especially have trouble with that last sentence fragment.
I challenge that. I say that it is EVEN MORE “wishful thinking” to assume that they do NOT continue their past evil beliefs and resultant practices whenever and wherever possible. Haven’t you yourself cited the data of “100% recidivism” for ALL child molesters in the general public, where sanctions, up to and including capital punishment, court-ordered chemical castration and lifelong public supervision, DO exist?
It boggles the mind and defies imagination to assume child-molestation and all the other corollary doctrines justifying and ARRANGING FOR that molestation would DIMINISH in an environment where such beliefs and practices were and are approved.
I believe that they DO “actively and openly preach and practice pedophilia”, with the mere EXCEPTIONS of their TV Homes, and of the NEWEST type of home I am hypothesizing that ALSO MUST exist, and that the "sampling" of that ENTIRE population (their “regular population” worldwide INCLUDING the TV Homes) is impossible, because TFI's not STUPID; just EVIL.
It is even reasonable to expect that TFI would go that next step in deception: to create some environments where, attempting to establish an even MORE “false sampling for publicly consumed data” of the overall TFI population, kids were, and ARE, NOT treated as during the 80s, etc. I'll bet NONE of those kids, or the adults supervising them for TFI's sake would still disavow Berg and Maria, and ANY of their doctrines, if asked closely and carefully. Their deception can be expected to stop at that one "Shibboleth", while all the while creating little “micro-TFI” environments where the public’s expectations WERE lived up to. A careful screening process of NEW recruits would pick most vulnerable and probable test subjects (sort of a “reverse-Milgram” trick, if you will), as well as most believable, and only a very few supervisors who actually KNEW the truth about the continuation of criminal and revenue-depriving practices worldwide would be necessary.
Why not?
It is the logical next step after the successful use of TV Homes. “Deceive the Disciples, Too (But Only SOME of Them, to Preserve What We Spoiled From Egypt”!) could be the name of the new “Queen Maria/Ping Keter Missive”. After all, on the Luke 24 story of the “Road to Emmaus”, it says that “their eyes were holden that they should not know Him…” [and that] ”… He [the resurrected Jesus] made as though He would go further…”; which, along with other Bergian “proof-texts”, could easily be twisted within their theology to justify “Jesus” (2Cor 11) purposely “deceiving the disciples”, and for filthy lucre’s sake.
Why not? They justify prostitution, kidnapping & thought reform torture, and child rape just as easily, and for the same reason; don’t they? Why would we, as members of the TFI-exer community, assume they have any reason but careful local market restrictions for ANY of their “pernicious doctrines”? It’s what keeps evil people IN the cult; power, self-aggrandizement and sexual perversion, and fooling the “inferior public”, all in the name of God.
