I think Barbie-phobia is probably the technical medical term. Thanks by the way for confirming that there were actually toys and dolls in Family homes in the early days. So if an anti-doll/stuffed toy thing happened, it must've happened in later years.

Anyone who worked in Childcare in the late 80's and the 90's care to comment and bring us up-to-date?

I do remember a letter called "Book Burning" but I never did hear about "Teddy Burning". And tho there was a letter caleld "C'mon Ma, Burn Your Bra," I never heard of one called, "C'mon Kids, Burn your Barbies."

Anyone know if there was an unwritten rule about such toys?
