Probably we saw both the same documentary or parts of it...mine was on arte the French/German TV station/network...but the documentary was not only about Marseille, also about Oslo & the various tours they did...On the negative side...you pay 700€ monthly for one year really for what?...if you don't have it, you can't be a follower?
They did a show at some type of church about Mt 24...endtime stuff...deciding where you wanna go...heaven or hell...there was this teenager in turmoil shaking...because what they do is a turnover/dedication-prayer or what should I call it, there's a word for it, I don't remember...when they pray with someone, as they filmed it...they start with: Lord Jesus 2000 years ago you gave your life for me & my sins etc....& then it addresses the one you're praying with, making him agree to give his life likewise...

This has been already since longer criticised in the evangelical world, at least I know some on fire evangelist, who did, because first of all you start with repentance, being born again & then later you realise, that you should dedicate your life, following Jesus...it shouldn't be all lumped up in one...because it puts people under pressure to dedicate their life & when later the "meeting
emotion" is gone, you could have deep trouble meeting some standard, you think is always expected of you...

Otherwise they really have very high standards...no doubt...there was this German girl, who missed her friends & was sure, that after one year she wouldn't continue & return home.

The approach on the streets in Switzerland was a bit "funny"...setting up amplifiers/players & boxes & two male members doing some performance I couldn't really make much of it, but it was an opener for discussions with viewers...I only thought: here has TF-Europe some competition...like saying: we're the real/initial Jesus revolution....LOL...Some time ago I had some
bigger sympathies for the Jesus freaks of Hamburg, which are quite widespread & have a yearly music-festival, called freakstock....what made me recently laugh in a bookshop is, that for supporters they have a widespread pizza delivery service...that was funny...well, two ideas TF hasn't really thought of: pizzaservice for support
& asking the followers to pay heavily for the training (plus food & lodging is payed by the churches where they perform!!!)

It also showed the different charisma/character people had:
there was this radiant Danish girl, who loved to perform on stage, whereas the German one looked a bit more withdrawn...the Danish one considered it her calling to be on stage & she was already some teamleader...I wonder, where Stephan Christiansen picked up all these ideas...I mean performances & theatre is really in since longer...from the vineyard churches to Bill Hybels' offsprings...
I wonder, if modern man really is so simpleminded, that he should need that for a starter, opener???
the visual approach....the brethren-movements think that that is nonsense...

I also remeber that scene about Marseille, where the older french follower said, that at first it was strange for him to knuckle under a younger female, but then if everyone would protest about this & that it would be confusion..

The subtitle in German was something about marching in line & has a negative slant in German for historical reasons...
