Thanks MG. That's about the attitude I thought was prevalent in the 80's and 90's. Thanks for spelling it out.
I maybe wasn't in childcare tht much. I just don't remember seeing dolls or teddy bears -- ever. It could be they were just put away during the day when I passed through kids' areas.
